We developed the visual identity for Feminist Alchemy, a global network of 14 feminist funds around the world, with the aim of reflecting their collective strength and the transformative power of communities united in their struggle for change. We were inspired by their vision of reimagining a world beyond crises, as well as their strong commitment to the territories where they are present.
We created an image that bridges the immediate and the enduring: a palette of warm colors and organic shapes representing deep connection and rapid action.
The logo design is based on the formal tension between a triangle and a flower. The triangle, a symbol of balance, strength, and fire in alchemy, represents a volcano, alluding to the powerful energy of the earth. The flower, emerging from this “volcanic fire,” symbolizes tenderness and life. This combination transforms destructive force into beauty and growth potential, honoring life in all its forms.
This design not only aims to communicate the power of a feminist response, but also symbolizes the support network between activists and local communities driving change during the most critical moments.
